Outdoor Civil Engineering Work Scope of Work

The company was responsible for delivering key external infrastructure works for the project, including:

  • Underground Utility Infrastructure

  • Pipe Routing & Drainage System

  • Manhole Construction

  • Site Preparation & Groundwork

  • Temporary Construction Access

Project Highlights

  • 299 Manholes Installed

  • 10,000+ Meters of Underground Pipeline Infrastructure Constructed

The project was executed within a large-scale construction environment, requiring close coordination among multiple contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders. The project team maintained strict quality control, effective site supervision, and disciplined schedule management to ensure that all infrastructure works were completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with engineering specifications and project requirements.

Project Overview

This project involved the construction and development of infrastructure for a Data Center in Indonesia, encompassing external utility works, underground piping systems, and the establishment of temporary site office facilities to support construction activities throughout the project lifecycle.

The project was designed to support the expansion of large-scale Data Center infrastructure, providing a robust foundation for construction, engineering operations, and essential support systems across the entire project site. The integrated infrastructure ensures efficient project execution while meeting the technical, operational, and future scalability requirements of modern data center developments.

Project Highlights

Site Planning & Engineering Coordination

Collaborated closely with engineering and construction teams to develop comprehensive site execution plans, ensuring that utility infrastructure was designed and implemented to support future operational requirements and long-term scalability.

Construction Management

Managed large-scale construction activities by overseeing site operations, coordinating resources, and implementing strict quality control measures throughout every stage of the construction process to ensure compliance with engineering standards and project objectives.

Supply Chain & Resource Control

Planned and managed the procurement, delivery, and allocation of construction materials and equipment to maintain uninterrupted project execution, minimize supply chain risks, and optimize resource utilization across the project site.

Project Challenges

As a large-scale Data Center infrastructure project, the construction involved multiple technical and operational challenges, including:

  • Large-Scale Infrastructure Coordination

  • Dynamic Site Conditions

  • Weather-Related Construction Planning

  • High-Volume Resource Management

  • Multi-Team Engineering Coordination

To successfully manage these complexities, the project team implemented detailed site planning, continuous progress monitoring, and adaptive construction strategies. Work plans were regularly adjusted to accommodate changing site conditions, weather impacts, and project progress, ensuring efficient resource utilization, seamless coordination among all stakeholders, and timely project execution while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Temporary Office Project

In addition to the core infrastructure works, the company constructed temporary site facilities to support daily project operations throughout the construction phase. These facilities were designed to accommodate:

  • Construction Operations

  • Engineering Teams

  • Site Management

  • Worker Facilities

  • Supporting Utility Areas

To ensure reliable site operations, the project was supported by a power infrastructure system with a total capacity exceeding 500 kW, providing stable electrical supply for construction activities, engineering operations, temporary offices, worker accommodations, and essential support facilities across the project site.

Result

The project successfully delivered the planned infrastructure and supporting facilities on schedule, establishing a solid foundation for the next phase of large-scale Data Center development. All construction activities were completed in accordance with engineering standards, supporting both current operational needs and future infrastructure expansion.

The completed infrastructure was designed to support:

  • Long-Term Infrastructure Expansion
Built with future growth in mind, enabling seamless expansion of utility networks and site infrastructure.

  • Stable Utility Support
Delivered reliable utility systems to ensure continuous operation of construction activities and future Data Center facilities.

  • Scalable Data Center Development
Established a flexible infrastructure platform capable of supporting future capacity increases and evolving operational requirements.

  • Efficient Construction Operations
Optimized construction workflows through well-planned site infrastructure, effective resource management, and coordinated project execution, contributing to improved productivity and timely project delivery.
