MEP Engineering & Infrastructure Coordination

Project Overview

This project involved the engineering design and installation of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems for the True Internet Data Center (True IDC) in Thailand. Developed to support Enterprise AI, Cloud Computing, and Digital Infrastructure, the facility provides a mission-critical environment designed for high availability, reliability, and operational efficiency.

The company was responsible for delivering comprehensive MEP engineering solutions, including system installation, engineering support, and infrastructure integration. Working in close coordination with multiple engineering disciplines, the project ensured seamless interoperability between mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, enabling stable and efficient Data Center operations while meeting the stringent performance, safety, and reliability standards required for enterprise-class facilities.

Scope of Work

The project scope encompassed the design, installation, and coordination of critical MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems required to support the operation of a mission-critical Data Center. Key services included:

In addition to the core engineering works, the company provided comprehensive engineering coordination, construction management, and site supervision to ensure all systems were installed in accordance with project specifications, technical standards, and construction schedules. Through close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, the project achieved seamless system integration, efficient execution, and successful delivery of the Data Center infrastructure.

Large-Scale MEP Coordination

Led the coordination of large-scale MEP engineering activities across multidisciplinary design, engineering, and construction teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficient project execution within a fast-track construction schedule.

BIM-Based Engineering Workflow

Leveraged Building Information Modeling (BIM) to optimize engineering planning, installation sequencing, and clash detection, improving construction accuracy, minimizing on-site conflicts, and enhancing overall project efficiency.

Technical Installation Management

Managed the installation of cable tray systems, piping networks, and critical engineering equipment in full compliance with Data Center infrastructure standards, ensuring quality, reliability, and long-term operational performance.

Fast-Track Engineering Execution

Successfully coordinated and accelerated installation activities by working closely with a team of over 40 engineers and technical specialists, enabling the project to meet demanding milestones while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and engineering excellence.

Project Background

This project forms part of the large-scale expansion of True Internet Data Center (True IDC), a leading Data Center provider in Thailand and a member of Charoen Pokphand Group (CP Group). The development is a strategic investment aimed at strengthening the country's next-generation digital infrastructure and supporting the increasing demand for enterprise IT services.

The facility is designed to provide a robust platform for AI Computing, Cloud Services, Digital Infrastructure, and mission-critical data operations, enabling organizations to accelerate digital transformation while ensuring high availability, scalability, and operational resilience.

As a key component of Thailand's digital ecosystem, the project supports the long-term growth of cloud technologies, artificial intelligence, and enterprise digital services, reinforcing the nation's position as a regional hub for digital innovation and advanced data infrastructure.

Engineering Challenges

The project was successfully delivered in accordance with the planned schedule, completing the installation, integration, testing, and commissioning of critical MEP systems to support a next-generation Enterprise Data Center environment.
